Watter in final Blue Tulip Awards 2011

16-10-2011: In totaal zijn meer dan 1.200 inzendingen ontvangen voor de Innovation Awards 2011, waarvan 225 inzendingen in de productgroep Consumer Products & Agri. Watter is verkozen tot één van de vijf finalisten in de laatst genoemde productgroep. Watter komt hiermee voor twee prijzen in aanmerking, ten eerste de Blauwe Tulp Award, en daarnaast de publieksprijs. De jury zal per categorie een winnaar selecteren welke automatisch genomineerd is voor de Blauwe Tulp Award 2011.

De publieksprijs wordt verkozen op basis van meeste stemmen uit het deelnemende publiek. Tussen 10 oktober en 10 november kan er gestemd worden, diegene met de meeste stemmen zal de publieksprijs uitgereikt krijgen op de Innovation Awards 2011 uitreiking die plaatsvindt op 10 november in de RAI.

Watter gelooft dat zij door haar combinatie van innovatie en ambitie een winnaar bij uitstek is in de categorie Duurzaamheid. Hierbij wordt het duurzame karakter van Watter benadrukt. De oplossing die Watter biedt vervangt giftige chemicaliën, zoals bijvoorbeeld formaline en waterstofperoxide in de agrarische sector, die een maatschappelijke probleem vormen voor mens, dier en milieu.

16-10-2011: In total more than 1.200 applications were received for the Innovation Awards 2011, of which 225 for the product group Consumer Products & Agri. Watter was selected as one of the five finalists in the latter product group. By participating, Watter is in the running for two awards, namely the Blue Tulip award as well as the public's choice award. De jury will select a winner from each category to be nominated for the Blue Tulip award.

The public's choice award will be given on the basis of votes from the public. Voting is possible from October 10th until November 10th. The finalist with the most votes will receive the public's choice award during the Innovation Awards 2011 main event to be held on November 10 in the RAI, Amsterdam.

Watter believes that due to the combination of its innovative character and ambition it will be a winner in the category Sustainability. In this category the sustainable character of Watter is highlighted by the replacement of toxic chemicals, such as formalin and hydrogen peroxide in the agricultural sector, that form a societal problem for people, animals and environment.
