Hi everyone! My name is Vicky, I am 21 and I came from Ukraine to the Netherlands almost 4 years ago. Currently, I am third-year student at Hanze UAS and doing my internship at Watter. I would say that I am a combination of Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger with a bit of Draco Malfoy on top:) but with love to humour. For entertainment I love to watch movies with my friends, having videocalls with my Ukrainian besties or reading an interesting book. It is always fun and nice.
I am studying Marketing Management at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen. In my opinion, everything I study aligns and relates to the internship. All the assignments that are given to me are not unfamiliar, because at university I have already done similar things. But here, at Watter, the assignments are "real", not case studies from uni, which makes me feel a lot more responsible.
I would describe the working atmosphere in three words: friendly, professional and chill. You have a room to do your assignments in the way you want, in the way convenient to you, which is great. Another advantage is that you are free to ask for help/advice from anyone.
I have a lot of them, it may take an eternity to describe all of them:) I really enjoy our walks after lunch. It is not only healthy, but also nice since you are speaking with fellow colleagues literally about everything. Additional thanks to Ben, our breaks always full of interesting and funny stories.
To anyone who is looking for internship: DO NOT HESITATE APPLY TO WATTER! Because here you are getting great working experience in terms of team work, different elements of work and you are assigned to real marketing tasks, which prepare you as a professional very well!
My favorite meme is a character from Italian brainrot called Ballerina Cappuchina.
