Watter and Sidijk join forces to launch a sustainable disinfection bath

Heerenveen/Tynaarlo, October 2, 2025 – Watter and Sidijk are jointly introducing a broad rollout of the disinfection bath, which, after more than two years of practical development, is now ready for the European market. The collaboration combines Sidijk's expertise in high-quality, sustainable materials and fastening techniques with Watter's knowledge of disinfection processes in livestock farms.

A partnership born from shared ambitions

The idea for the disinfection bath arose from a shared ambition to develop a maintenance-friendly, sustainable, and safe solution for hoof disinfection in dairy cattle.

Sustainable design for long-term use

The disinfection bath has been specially developed for teat disinfection on dairy farms. The design is robust, resistant to intensive use, and suitable for a wide range of disinfectants. Thanks to its modular construction, all parts are individually replaceable, ensuring easy maintenance, longer service life, and lower life cycle costs. The version of this bath developed by Sidijk is made from PFAS-free, recyclable materials that are non-toxic and designed for a long service life.
