Tell us something about yourself. Who are you and what do you like to do for fun?

Hi everyone! My name is Vicky, I am 21 years old, and I am back at Watter! After my previous internship here, I realized how much I missed the team. When I’m not diving into marketing data, you can usually find me enjoying the "chill" side of life - though I’m still working on mastering some very specific (and slightly weird) party tricks!

What are you studying and how does that relate to your internship at Watter?

I’m currently in my final year of Marketing Management at Hanze UAS in the beautiful city of Groningen. This time around, I’m taking on a massive challenge for my graduation project: I am researching and discovering opportunities for HOCl within the French cosmetics market. It’s a perfect blend of international strategy and niche marketing.

Why did you choose Watter B.V. as your graduation company?

For me, it’s all about alignment. My personal values and my vision of a greener, better world strongly match what we do here. I wanted to use my skills and knowledge to benefit the ecology and contribute something meaningful to both the company and society. It feels great to work on something that actually matters for the planet!

What have you missed the most about being here?

It’s the little things! I truly missed my colleagues and that signature pleasant and chill working atmosphere. And, of course, I have to be honest - I definitely missed Snack Thursdays! There’s nothing like a good snack to power through a graduation thesis.

Is there anything you wish to tell future interns looking for an internship?

Look for a place that matches your heart as much as your career goals. When you find a company where you feel you are contributing to a "better world," the work stops feeling like a task and starts feeling like a mission. Plus, the support you get here at Watter is very good.

Lastly, if you could have any "useless" superpower, what would it be?

That’s an amazing question because I actually want two! First, I’d love to be able to move my ears on command. Second, and this would be very handy at parties - I wish I could open glass bottles (like Cola or beer) with my eye!
