Meet the team: Jinte Linthorst, the creative mind behind our content

Tell us something about yourself. Who is Jinte and what does your life look like outside of Watter?

Hi everyone! My name is Jinte Linthorst, and I’m the Brand & Content Marketeer here at Watter. I enjoy being creative and proactive in this role, from devising strategies to creating engaging content.
Outside of the office, I’m rarely sitting still. I’m quite active in sports, I run my own business, and I make music! We regularly perform our original songs at (student) parties across the country, which is a lot of fun.

What attracted you to join the Watter team?

What immediately appealed to me about Watter was the combination of a wide range of responsibilities and the freedom to take the initiative. There are plenty of opportunities for career growth, which was a major motivator for me. I also think it’s a big plus that the technology and the product are truly Watter’s own. That makes marketing them much more tangible and enjoyable.

How would you describe the atmosphere and your colleagues?

Down-to-earth, driven, and pleasant. I felt welcome from day one. A great example of this was during my second week on the job. I was immediately invited to the company outing at an indoor ski hall! We laughed so much, and it was the perfect way to bond with the team right at the start.

Which tasks give you the most energy during the workday?

What energizes me most is making strategic marketing decisions and translating them into tangible, commercial successes. This ranges from fine-tuning the narrative in a blog post to sharpening the positioning of our offerings in the market.
What makes my work truly challenging and enjoyable is the freedom to manage projects from start to finish on my own. It sometimes feels as though I’m running my own small business within Watter. That combination of creative freedom and responsibility is what makes me enjoy coming to work every day.

What is your favorite memory at Watter so far?

Without a doubt, it’s that ski trip during my second week. It was the best way to get a taste of the team spirit, though I have to admit, I ended up ‘tasting’ the snow on the slopes a few too many times.

How do you see the future of water disinfection and Watter?

I believe we’re going to experience tremendous growth in the coming years. Our disinfection technology is, in my opinion, far superior to almost every alternative currently on the market. The industry is ready for innovation, and Watter is leading the charge.
